Hi!
As you might have guessed, I’m Mary Dynese. I’m a costume designer and artist from the California Bay Area. As a child, I loved playing dress up and telling people what to do, so I was thrilled to find out combining those two could be a career. I recently completed a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in Costume Design at Baylor University in Waco, TX. In my free time, I enjoy video games, reading, and spoiling my cats rotten.
As an artist, my main passion is the many ways we tell stories. Whether it’s through poetry, color, or choice of textile, everything around us is filled with history and meaning. I want to dive into that ocean of human experience and pull out intentional, informed, and inspiring artistic choices to make art with significance.
