A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A conceptual project for Baylor University’s Costume Design course.

Here it is. The project every design student loves to hate and hates to love: Shakespeare’s classic play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I wanted to put a twist on the project by instead designing for a ballet version of the story. I was heavily inspired by George Balanchine’s 1962 production as well as classic fairytale illustration.
