She Loves Me

Conceptual project for Baylor University’s Advanced Costume Design course

She Loves Me is a 1963 musical based on the 1937 play Parfumerie by Miklós László. It’s a charming love story between two people who hate each other (at first). I wanted to focus on the levity and joy found throughout the play and express that through color. I drew inspiration from photos of Budapest that featured the brilliant mosaic work and vibrant color found in its architecture.
